WTF, using a cc through paypal

When using a cc through paypal does it temporarily propogate money from your back account? I paid for something using a credit card and I had money in my paypal account and just checked my bank account, and there's some money gone.

Paypal should let you choose what you want as the primary and secondary source of the funds. It shouldn't take money from there if you didn't tell it to.

probably protection, CC>paypal (for fraud and chargeback purposes)

but why didn't you just use the CC straight on? seller only took paypal?

it cost more money than what i wanted to spend out of my paypal bank account and paypal account.

Well then you paid for it with money from your CC, what did you expect the money to appear from fairyland?
