WTF... UPS just delivered my package 4 days early...

I got an Amazon.com package the same day when I ordered at 1am once.. It was insane.. Totally not expecting it.. I did the free crappy shipping option and everything. It arrived around 5pm.. I'd love to have that kind of service again..

You are blessed! When I order from Newegg the 3 days turns into 4-5 days. With Fedex it was always 2 days.

My most recent Newegg order was shipped via UPS ground, I didn't use the "rush order" option. I ordered at 3 PM EST on the 3rd, it was in my hands at 1230 PM EST on the 5th. Surprised, to say the least.

Hasn't UPS made a concerted effort to speed up their ground service? It seems like I've seen or heard ads to that effect and have noticed a marked difference in my last few deliveries.

Newegg uses UPS Ground and UPS 3 Day select

If you are close to the warehouse it would ship out ground.
If your far away then it would go 3 Day

That's happened with both of my last orders from Newegg. At least for me, I haven't seen a difference between FedEx and UPS when it comes to Newegg.
