ok, check this out. i ordered an ecs 7ks5a & 950 duron from outpost last week, and i got my stuff today. i go home nice and happy and set the sucker up. first i get some beeps. nothing unusual... so i look over everything. everything looks right. still beeping. strange. so i bust out another k7s5a (which i happen to have in surplus), and that thing post without a hitch. so i'm fairly certain i got a bad mobo. now i call up outpost and tell them i got a bad board and ask for a replacement. the dude was like cool, just ship it back to us and blah blah blah. i'm like wait a second... who's gonna pay for shipping back? he tells me "you". you? how about f*ck you! nah... i didn't say that, but thats what i was thinking. i don't get this... i get a board thats bad right out of the box, yet they want me to pay to ship the piece of crap back to them. is that right? i told the guy that sucks, and his reply was "i know, but unfortunately there is nothing i can do about that". i told him i would call him back, becuz i wanted to do a little research on this subject. so far, i have not turned up anything on the outpost website. has anyone ever dealt with outpost rma before? am i destined to get shafted for return shipping charges on a DOA product?
