Like people don't get bombarded enough by this crap on every other station on the dial.

It's totally out of left field. Q104 is usually a pretty good station. They'll occasionally play old Nirvana and Pearl Jam, but this? Why this???

But seriously, if Pink Floyd made a new song yesterday, and it was played on a classic rock station, would you cry about it? Green Day is old school, I'm very sad to say. I remember having the Dookie album and getting Nimrod when it came out. That was like 8 years ago.

The Black Crowes were classic rock when they first came out. They were great, but they were channeling early Stones when they came out.

If Green Day was played, maybe they're trying to expand from a classic rock station to a regular rock station.
