WTF!? They are ruining Bugs Bunny and Looney Tunes

Do they have to try and "modernize" everything??

Yes, if the ratings are not what they hope.

Keep in mind that they are keeping the old ones as well. This is just an offshoot to see if it can click with modern kids like the Teen Titans (I think that's the name) did.

😛uke;

what's the point?

can't they just create an entirely new character, and say it's not based on the original Bugs Bunny?

They ruined Looney Tunes a LONG time ago. That last good cartoon was made in the late 40s/early 50s. Since then everything made by them has been garbage.

What made Looney Tunes great was the original run from the 30s, 40s and early 50s that were geared towards adults and run in theaters as shorts before and between movies.

They took a nose dive when they started targeting them exclusively for kids. Anything made by them after 1960 is unwatchable.

Heh...remember that Speedy Gonzalez is too offensive to show on Cartoon Network in North America but is fine to show in Mexico and South America.

Sad, but true.

The Original Looney Tunes, rule. I can remember growing up watching Duck Dodgers in the 23 and a half Century. Daffy is the best one. His Robin Hood is a classic.

I blame this on Anime.

I don't get anime. I've flipped through mangas and the japanese comics, and I just don't like that art style. I much prefer the 'american' art style.

That said, I enjoy watching Teen Titans, but I've always liked the Batman story and characters.

I semi-agree with you, but you are putting the ones Chuck Jones did into the suck category and frankly I think the ones Chuck producded were the best ones ever made. The ride of the Valkyres staring bugs and elmer is IMO the most entertaining looney toons ever produced.

Have you seen the new Duck Dodgers 'toon on Cartoon Network? It's actually pretty funny and they didn't screw around with the classic characters. Can't beleive they're doing this.
