WTF...the Israeli-Egyptian border in Google Maps

What are you talking about? Zoom in and focus on the border roads. The colors are the same.

Its probably just that the prevailing winds are going from Egypt to Israel and the sand form the dunes in Egypt isn't blowing past the big fence that is probably there.

Also, if you want crazy colored water look at the southern end of the San Francisco bay.
