I think what he means is: "It's open source, it's better." Not: "It's better because it has more features, improved functionality, and a larger user-base."

Yeah, the convenience of being able to take a document with complex formatting and special formulae from my home computer to my work computer or vice versa is just a stupid reason to use MS products. I'd much rather fiddle around with a converter and still have to spend 30-60 minutes re-working the formatting that got screwed up.Originally posted by: ultimatebob
