don't know what font she had set, but on the default (which I was using), you could clearly tell the difference between the r and n.

No, and seeing as how there's no precedent or remotely reasonable reason to be offended, you shouldn't give in.

Alternatively, just pick a word that she says often, and claim that it offends you. Something like "and" will do nicely.
