Another possibility, are you running a 3D screen saver (they use a lot of CPU power).

8. Try using a log file, system monitor, wintop

ya I probably have like 5 viruses

No what I don't get is it was doing fine before and then went south and I didn't get a virus since then.

Try Ken_g6's task manager and see what is using your CPU time. You can try this one too:

nope i havent changed ... anything at all ... Whatever this p2 350 is only temp until i build my new computer with a t bird over a ghz
