WTF: Roundup kills nothing

Really. It worked good for me. Used it to clean up around the landacaping beds. It was the concentrated Roundup, but I mixed it per the instuctions.

WTF?

We use Roundup a *LOT* on the farm. If you were to drive back to chem storage you'd see a few 50 gallon drums of it. We never have a problem with it failing to kill something.

Did you have some concentrate stuff? I had some of that super strength stuff that I mixed up about double what I was supposed to and it didn't seem to kill a whole lot. next couple of times using it, it worked as expected. I don't know what was up with that one time.

I used some cheap stuff thinking it wouldn't do anything. My yard is 90% weeds and a few days later, almost everything was dead and brown dry. I sprinked bermuda grass seed all over the place and watered. I hope we can get some real grass now.

drink it...I bet it will kill something then 😉

I know that was sarcasm, but the farmer in me must point out that Roundup isn't something to play with (or even get on your skin, depending on how it's mixed). Our chem storage is keep locked up very secure, signs posted all over the place declaring a biological hazard, that there are very combustible materials inside, etc. Basically, stay the fvck away from it unless you know what you're doing 😉

not, of course, to suggest that anyone should mess with it, and I wouldn't either. Monsanto is Evil with a capital E and I simply don't trust them, but ...
MSDS

inhalation: Practically non-toxic.
skin irritation: Essentially non irritating.
eye irritation: Moderate irritation.

Maybe it rained right after you used the RoundUp? It has to sit on the leaves of whatever you're using it on for awhile or it won't work.

Pussies.

Squirting herbicides from afar.. wimps!

Whatever happened to using your hands?

Anyone here ever ride a "bean buggy"??

I'm amazed I'm still alive given the amount of herbacides/fertilizers/pesticides I was exposed to in the 80's
