Put baby in pot on stove, take picture. Take baby out of pot, leave pot in same place, turn on stove, take another picture. Put the camera on a tripod, and mesh the two images.

Not that hard to photochop that.

not a photoshop. from the guy's blog:

please don't call DCFS on me. i swear the flame was on for only 1.5 seconds. which pretty much means i started bursting at 5.2fps giving me about 7.5 shots in that time period. i even set the pot on ice before we started this shot.

Maybe take the pic without the kid there and the stove on, then with the kid there but the stove off and splice the two together.
