WTF! Our thanksgiving turkey had 3 legs?!

So my wife's mom made us a wonderful thanksgiving turkey last night, 14 pounder, my parents joined us as well. My mom is one of the few of us who enjoys dark meat, so we gave her a nice big turkey leg on her plate.

Later that night, I go ahead and carve the rest of the turkey up so everyone can enjoy some nice meals over the next few days.

Fast forward to tonight, my mom and I pull out the zip lock with all the pieces I saved for us. As I start pulling them out, I get a little confused as I have two turkey legs in the bag. Huh? WTF?!

I called my wife just to make sure there wasn't a second turkey, she confirmed there wasn't. I remember removing both legs off the turkey last night when I was carving it up at the end of the night, but didn't think much of it until now.

🙁

Can you guys try and tone down the perverted talk when it involves my mom? thanks 😉

Why the sad? Sounds pretty awesome to me!

Well, in the grand scheme of things, sure. But I dunno, I kinda prefer my food to be free from anything odd 😉

I'm pretty sure you would have noticed 3 legs on the turkey before, during, and after cooking it. 😛 She probably didn't finish the leg and put it back in with the rest of the turkey.

She got more dark meat than she could handle? :Q

Oh, man I'm going to pay for that.
