Okay, I just got this game 2 days ago. From the beggining I've been having problems. My first problem was it wouldn't copy a file while installing, I solved this by using my other cd-rw drive to install it. Anyways it played normal from then on until yesterday, now it starts just quiting during the middle of my races!!!! This is very frustrating, I can't get any tournaments done! I doubt my video card can't handle it (9700 pro). But am I wrong? I have the highest settings on. Please help, thanks!

There are alot of reasons why it can fail.

Playing it with all the highest settings is a starting point.
Turn some of the detail down, ease up on the EAX/Audio.

You didn't mention an OS, but WinXP has a problem with various
CDRom drives and the SafeDisc(Macrovision) protection on the CD.

You can get a FIX here:
SafeDisc WinXP Fix

Also, are you running any Virtual CDRom software (Alcohol 120, Nero, Daemon Tools, etc..)?
They tend to fool the protection as to the location of the original install Drive.

Antivirus software will also cause the game to drop to the desktop (especially with OnLine
Updates enabled).

Thanks, I'll loosen up on the settings, I downloaded the safedisc patch. I pressed setup and it said succesfully installed, can I delete those files now? I did have alchol 120 on here but I installed it a while ago, the virtual drive is gone. Also I uninstalled the Nero InCD thing, I'm not sure if that's a virtual cd-rom but it was causing problems. I'm going to check norton if he is on online update. Thanks for the great post again, I hope it works this time!

EDIT: Tried EVERYTHING! Still doesn't work, anyone else?
