I had one DOA HDMI cable from them on my last order. Haven't dealt with the RMA process yet. Not sure if its worth it.

Yeah, here are two of their DVI cables with a switch (also form MP)

Normal cable in the middle

I got an Xbox 360 VGA cable from them and it sucked, they gave me a full refund and I didn't even have to return it!

What I love about MonoPrice, besides their great prices, is that their shipping is awesome, at least for me. Because of the proximity of my place to them, I get almost all my items the next day (if I order before noon).

I was joking with a friend of mine that when I am on the MonoPrice website placing an order, I almost feel like they are standing at my door waiting for me to complete my order so they can ring to doorbell and deliver the items.

They're in Rancho Cucamonga so everything comes super fast. Even faster than Amazon.

The next time I have an appearance out there, I am going to order something from Monoprice, just so I can go pick it up and kiss someone over there. ;)

They are a great value, however; sometimes the heaviest cable isn't the best for certain applications.

So I ordered a few DVI-D cables from Monoprice the other day for the first time.

They came in yesterday and HOLY COW! They're HUUUUGE! The girth, the ferrite cores are MASSIVE... I think I'll use them for self-defense if needed.. they can surely knock people out in a jiffy..
I bought some DVI-D cables from Monoprice once. Those damn huge ferrites, prevented me from being able to even hook up the cables to the monitor. So I got some cables from somewhere else.

Many of the ferrites are molded into the cable. However, there are lighter gauge ones that have more modest ferrites. Ferrites are a good addition to any high bandwidth video cable.

Their cables are huge. I bought a 25ft Dvi to HDMI cable for use with my projector. It works great, but is massive.

They will most likely just send you a new cable and let you keep the dead one. They made a mistake on a order of mine one time, sent me a new cable fedex.

couldnt you have just removed the ferrites?

It's a PIA to do this. First if it's too large you can take a razor knife (be careful!) and make a slice axially on both sides of the ferrite. The coating is thick and once removed will still provide functionality with a smaller diameter. If you really want to remove the ferrite after doing this you can strike it with a small ball peen hammer (wear goggles!) but beware the ceramic will shatter and shrapnel flies everywhere!

Some of their cables are just too big. The display port cable I ordered is a good centimeter in diameter. I'm not running this cable past any amount of EM that would need this much shielding. This wouldn't be a problem if they offered a less substantial cable.

I buy from them all the time since finding out about them here. The only problem that I've encountered was that the left and right RCA plugs were reversed on the 3.5mm mini-plug-to-RCA adapter cables that I bought from them. All I had to do was switch them around and they worked great. Kind of a funny screw-up, but otherwise perfectly functional.

And their premium cables are hilariously huge. :D

lol.. yea the cables are simply massive.... they feel absolutely solid though... I too was concerned about the ferrite cores obstructing the assembly of the DVI-D to the monitor(s) but they fit like a glove!

Regarding shipping, yea, it's funny. I ordered the cables last Sunday. They were at my door Monday morning! :D Helps to be in Cali though... and their "overnite express" was cheaper than the standard 3-day shipping! lol...

I just use HDMI cables with HDMI-DVI adapters. So if I upgrade to a device that uses just HDMI I can still use the cable.

I just ordered some hdmi cables from them. They were ridiculously cheap (~$4 a piece). I hope that isn't a bad thing. I've heard good things, but this was the first time I've bought from them.

Best Buy's cheapest 6' hdmi was $16 and they went all the way up to $150

Does anyone have experience with http://www.bluejeanscable.com ? A buddy told me I should have bought from them instead.

You'll be fine. They work great. Heck buy a $16 cable at Best Buy and compare then return it. You won't notice a difference. ;)

Plus with Monoprice they will give you a Lifetime Warranty on it. So if it fails, just let them know and they will replace it.

I have bought many HDMI cables and other products. They rule.
