Glad to see you support communism. Anti-distraction? ROFL. A Backpack isn't going to prevent me from learning, thanks though. Anti-congestion? How hard is it to avoid someone with their backpack on? You hit me with your backpack, you're getting shoved. It's that simple.Originally posted by: Zenmervolt

However, if I HAD to go to a locker between classes, I would frequently be late because the lockers were in stupid places and I'd end up with a locker on the NW corner that I would have had to walk to from the NE corner to get a book to go to a class on the SE corner, and there really would not have been time for that as the campus was pretty sprawled out.
Meh, my HS was spread out and didn't allow bags. It was just a matter of planning ahead and carrying the books for 2 or 3 classes at a time so that you only needed to stop at your locker 2-3 times a day instead of between every class. You'd just time it so you switched books when your normal walk to the next class took you close to your locker.
EDIT: Granted, we had 5 minutes between classes. It's insane that schools are shortening the time to anything less than that. It's not like the extra few minutes from compressing that time is really going to be useful in a school day.

This kind of policy is becoming rather common place. The high school I went to and my little sister is currently at enacted this same thing last year. Then THIS year, they changed passing time from 10 minutes to 4. This is a three story HUGE school, and the students now have 4 minutes to get from one class, to the locker, and to the next class. And, get this, when the bell rings, the teachers are instructed to lock the doors and not allow access to tardy students. Anyone caught in the hall after the bell rings has to go sit in the cafeteria, where they aren't allowed to do ANYTHING. They cant read, do homework, sleep, they have to sit there for the duration of the class and stare off into space. So due to the administration's bad policy, students who WANT to show up to class and learn but are unable to make it in 4 minutes, are punished by not being able to learn anything at all!

QFT...I heard of this over 10 years ago...in my day (80's).
The main problem I have read and seen is usually the kids aren't using the bags to carry books.
Still it's parents calling for this crap meanwhile those same parents probably have their kids sneaking contraband in.
In this day and age the solution would be have a classroom set of books and have them available electronically for home use. Eliminates a ton of resource issues. However, book sellers would not care for this and at the college level it's part of a profit chain that electronic versions would kill.

Another clueless dude. You are thinking pads. A pantyliner would hardly be noticable even under direct observation of the area.
Also a period is hardly 'gushing' even on the heaviest of flow.

No, I am not clueless. You must be from a time before women wore thongs to avoid panty lines. Pads and liners are a no go. Panty lines are something they try to avoid, do you really think they'd want anything extra there?

*shrugs* Take it as you will...I've never seen anyone wearing a thong panty liner..but I have known girls who only wear thongs (or nothing at all, 24/7/365).
