Who do you think you are? Putting graham crackers, not with the crackers where the name clearly indicates they should be, but with the cookies? :colbert:

I think the defining property of a cracker is the ability to put cheese on it.
No cheese, no cracker.
Henceforth they will be called graham cookies.

Yea, cream cheese that's had sugar beaten into it... that's called frosting!

I think the defining property of a cheese is the ability to put it on a cracker.
No cracker, no cheese.

Wait, suddenly I'm feeling religious.

And they put the cheesepie with the cakes instead of the pies where it clearly belongs.

Crackers = salty, crispy, baked good (not to be confused with pretzels, which are bread, or white people)
Cookies = sweet, crispy, baked good

Graham crackers are sweet, hence they are in fact a cookie.

Fact of the day, Graham crackers were originally invented as a prevention for choking the chicken. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

Damn you are dumb. Where were the Animal Crackers?

We are talking about graham crackers not animal crackers. Try to keep up.
Every store puts them with the cookies because despite the name, they're a cookie.

Its a conspiracy!

And they put the cheesepie with the cakes instead of the pies where it clearly belongs.

Whats next? Waffles with pancakes? Cats with dogs? Spidey with Craig?

You must go down all the isles. I have that problem whenever I look for any item of a kind I don't often get. I can narrow it down to a section of an isle for Walmart, Publix, or Food Lion, with near 100% correctness, but not Kroger. I think it's one of those intentional things to get you going around the store, so as to be tempted to buy more stuff.

Napkins weren't in the same aisle as the toilet paper and paper towels, where I expected them. They were on the other end of the store with the paper plates. WTF

And my "breakfast biscuits" [Belvita biscuits] are located next to all the crackers.

And dammit it works on me, half the time.
The bastards!!

I like food, and like trying new things that sound delicious.

It is why I do tend to get a lot of the small things like that at Target, because sometimes they even have better prices, but also because they are located exactly where I want them.
That and it's just easier. Kroger can be such a hassle when you only want to pick up $10-20 in food items that are dry-goods and boxed.

But awesome when you want to walk the perimeter of the store and get the "essentials" and fresh ingredients.

Should have shopped at Publix

no such place.

I'd ask what that is, but I've seen them when I've been down South.

Though, if there is a Kroger nearby, I always go there instead. I like familiarity. :D

However, after visiting in San Antonio, I think I have declared HEB to be king. At least, the "massive" version which has everything it seems.
I think I got literally got lost at one point.

You made the mistake of winning the thread.

Sorry, you lose

I have albertsons.. albertsons has high prices and small selection. The only reason to go there is to avoid the rif-raf.

That has a nice ring to it. An enterprising individual would trademark that, and come up with a couple other entertaining names for desserts, and make a fortune.
