WTF kind of area code is 100?

call it back and find out? if the dude you talk to wants to cahrge you $25,000/min for phone sex, just give them your credit card number and you'll be good to go 😉

Apparently there is no 100 area code in the US. However, as I am currently working on replacing our office's phone system with a Cisco VoIP system, I know that I can change the caller ID number to display as anything I want.

So it was just someone who didn't want you to know who was calling, or they have their phone system setup wrong.

sometimes i get calls from 5 digit numbers, that being said....some pbx exchanges only transmit the last 5 as called id......

My bro-in-law has a VOIP and, when he calls me, he likes to put my number in as the CallerID. It has stopped freaking me out.

005 is not a valid US prefix. Probably one of those $2000 per minute numbers to an overseas company hoping you'll be stupid enough to call it.
