WTF: Just got a ticket for STREET SWEEPING

I'll bet there are little signs stating exactly the times of day and which days your car must not be there in order for street sweeping to occur.
Here's a life lesson for you to try..... Fight that ticket. Then when the judge says "What time do the signs say No Parking?" Does it say "until the street sweeper has passed?" . You will then know all you need to know to save an extra $25.00 - $55.00 per week.

Last summer a guy in a meter maid vehicle pulled up in front of my house and started writing out a ticket for my friends car. I go out there and start talking down to this guy like he's some sort of low level government flunkey. He then pulls out his ID, and he's a police officer. He explains that they occasionally do undercover work posing as meter maids. He was friendly and just told us to move the car because they were sweeping the streets.
