WTF is wrong with the Spurs

You have to look at it this way. Since Feb 4th, the Kings were one win behind the Pistons for the best record in the league. They aren't an 8th seed team.

And, like I said before the playoffs started, the Kings have some very tough matchups for the Spurs and played them very tough this season even before Artest joined.

Another factor is that Bonzi Wells and Ron Artest didn't play a lot of this season so both of them are pretty fresh.

If the Kings get by the Spurs, there's nobody outside of Dallas who stands a chance....provided the Lakers take care of the Suns.

lakers and the kings (still a long shot, i know) possibly in the 2nd round? :Q

How? Whoever wins between Spurs/Kings plays the Mavericks. The Lakers have the Clips waiting for them assuming they take care of business tonight.

Sure doesn't look like the Spurs are up for a repeat. They seem to have a knack of following up a championship with a first round loss. They better find an answer to Artest and Wells quick.

i know, i meant both teams being in the second round....not matching up.

They are disappointing on all levels. They aren't making easy, open shots. Duncan is clearly affected by his injury and not playing at even 50% I'd say. Their defense is a huge letdown... lots of blown picks and rolls (almost like they forgot that people roll after the pick). I don't know what to say... they look really bad.

But, they have often looked questionable in the first round. I remember the year the suns with marbury took them to 6.

I couldn't watch more than the last quarter. I think I only saw Mohamed make some free throws - the rest of the shots were bunk! C'mon Spurs!! I bought some of your pins and everything....🙁

The Spurs look pathetic. Duncan is nowhere near his usual ferociousness in the playoffs. The PF must be really painful.

Jalen is doing a pretty good job, IMO. He's had some pretty good off-the-cuff comments that were spot-on.

Jalen's doing a bad job for what he is supposed to be doing. 99% of the time he just adds analysis or color commentary. All the other "sideline" guys do actual reporting. Not Jalen. He should be at the broadcast booth if anything.
