So I'm sitting in calc IV lecture today (about 30 people) and I notice this annoying unending movement in my peripheral vision. I glance over, and the retard next to me is picking his damned nose during class. I don't mean covertly...he's got the whole finger jammed up there. Then I notice he's picking his ears too, and the back of his head, and sometimes his face. Oh, and he would then take his pencil and clean out his fingernails. So freakin' disgusting and annoying. I'm not sure why I haven't noticed it the past 2-3 weeks since I generally sit in the same area of the room. Am I too much of an ass if I call him out on it the next time it happens?
 
That's nasty. One of the guys in my office clips his fingernails at his desk. Obviously that's not nearly as bad, but for some reason it annoys the bejeezus out of me.
 
get over it... Not everyone is a perfect as you guys. Not everyone is also as hypersensitive to what others do with their own lives, in public or not.

Not as bad as this disgusting butter troll of a 'woman' in one of my lectures last semester who would comb her hair (read: rip a metal comb out of the disgusting crisco party that she called hair) and it would come out in sheets all over the lecture room.

Sometimes a particular strand would interest her and she'd look at it for a few seconds before throwing it on the floor. I swear it looked like one of those little rat dogs shed all over the floor.

Yeah. Not all of us are aware that we're in public.

Being disgusting is also subjective.
 
I don't see whats wrong with it. Why, I fart and belch at fine restaurants all the time. Someone needs to give the prudes a little excitement!

ok. I don't care what people think of how i look or what i do. but at least i save my nose picking for when im alone orin my car!

Yeah I usually do it at home, but if I forgot and I have time at work, I will ckip them there in the trashcan in my office. Since my office is enclosed, not a cubicle, noone seems to care.

I was "traumatized" in 2nd grade after looking over during school work too see Daniel Sledge (I still remember this kid's name, even though he moved during that year and that was 20+ years ago) pull out the biggest, moistest, greenish-yellow monstrosity from his nasal cavity and then proceed to... *blech*

Since then, if I ever see someone (at a redlight, etc) reaching in, I quick turn away, as I never want to see that again.

He was right next to me. No way to not see it, especially when the prof was writing on the right side of the board.

I don't think he was eating it. However some of it he was rubbing on his knee and then flicking off. I saw some of it go on the girl sitting infront of him.
