I dont think theres anything "wrong" with Hustler as such.
Larry Flynt got hold of Jessica Lynch's nudie photos and said he was going to publish them. Then he changes his mind of his own accord and decided to not do it.
They look to point out how fucked up American society is, and how hypocritical its leaders are. Sometimes they do ugly things to prove their point. Other times they take the noble approach and rise above such ugliness.

Nothing is wrong with them. It was a legal request AFAIK.

I'm at work and would prefer not to google it. Mind filling me in on what that is?

it was horrible. 16 year-old girl steals daddy's porsche in drunken hissy fit, peels off, smashes into concrete toll booth going ~ 90mph.

pictures were posted here almost immediately...she had literally been torn in half. you could see a cross-section of her head, scalp and hair stuck to the door, brain matter all over the toll plaza.

to Ororro, I say that it "makes no sense" to you, maybe, b/c you don't know what it feels like to lose someone you love, much less a child, and in a similar situation? Think about it before you make stupid comments.

I am really sorry for the girl but at the same time this is a perfect example of why people should take cares seriously. They are giant metal death machines, and Americans dont respect that for some reason.

It should be illegal in certain situations, but it's hard to draw the line. Publishing those photos could and should be considered harassment to the victim's family.

Trials and evidence should be open to the public. If the evidence is allowed to be kept secret, then soon trials will be secret. The you'll just have to take the governments word for it they had sufficient evidence.

One of the stories I've read said the girl was treated for brain tumor at a very young age which left her susceptible for impulse/judgment lapses. If that is actually true "drunken hissy fit" is undeserved. She may have had a "fit", but it was out of her control. Sad story.

This is another case of "it shouldn't be illegal but it shouldn't be an issue because no one should want to use them inappropriately".

Unfortunately, this is the case for pretty much all laws.

This is where i go "WTF"...

"We have to walk the line between open record laws and the constitutional provisions that allow women to be able to be photographed nude or in pornography when they knowingly and willingly offer their bodies for dissemination," she said.

Are there people that agree to this?
