So, I opened up my mondo pack of fireworks that I recently purchased from Costco... which, by the way, was an amazing freakin' deal! The TNT Fireworks pack is only $100 for like $300-$350 worth of fireworks! They have other size packs for less money, but I split the cost of the large pack with a couple friends--well worth the money!

Anyhow, I opened up the pack to get ready to light some tonight and guess what I found! There were two fountains named "Golden Shower Fountain!"

OMG, WTF is wrong with this country when we name our fireworks "Golden Shower"?! This is clearly a case of someone in China not knowing the significance of the term...

"Do not hold in hand"

Meh, I had a shell launching tube blow up. Was a 4 shell round too. One blew up right inside the damn tube which propelled the next 3 about 4 feet into the air where another one blew up less than 6 feet away from me. The other two hit the water before going off. That created a nice splash.

Scared the hell out of me :Q

It's a good thing they give you 3 of those in the 72 shell packs 😛
 
hehehe golden shower. The first time i actually saw the term was here in ATOT in a thread...

anyways damn! i wish i can blow off fireworks! GRRR. It's illegal in a lot of places in So. Cal

I once had a mortar misfire and land a foot away from me. I got about 3 running steps in before it blew. That was an experience . . . . .

Let's just say it's not something I'd like to experience again any time soon.

Was probably 15 feet away from all the remaining shells that were fired.
