Someone really needs to introduce you to the wonders of tabbed browsing.

You aint kidding...how do you live like that?!
If you guys are saying you can open a window quicker through tabbed browsing, than simply selecting the minimized window on the taskbar, YOU'RE FULL OF SH|T!

He's probably got a different component in each of those NewEgg windows. I've done similar type shopping and configuring before.

Yep, I'm looking at different LCDs I might buy and I got all the ones I want open. That way I can quickly compare them all. And I couldn't get used to tabbed browsing either. I always use alt-tab. Usually there are only 2 or 3 windows I'm working on at one time and alt-tab arranges them by last looked at. It's not as unorganized as it looks. I swear... 😛

my monitor does this MILDLY.

Here is why:

It as against a wall. On the other side of the wall is our main television, a standard CRT type.

When the TV is on, the electromagnetic feilds that aim the electron beam at individual pixels interfere, so my picture gets shaky. It is less noticable on the TV.

ANY electronic device can do this. ANY at all. for example, I was working on my sister's comp, and I set her alarm clock on top of the CRT to get som more desk space . . and skakiness insued.

so, speakers, other CRT's, anything that is plugged in . . they can all cause it.

"...I always use alt-tab."

Why not just push the button on the taskbar for the minimized window you want to maximize? If you can't remember which is which, the title shows up when you hover over it with the mouse. Gotta be quicker than alt-tabbing!
