WTF is up with used mac prices

Was looking to find a used mac for $200 bucks and it seems all sellers have used corvette syndrome. As in they think its worth 75% of its value 6 years later.

i don't get it either. they are just computers with the same disposable components inside, but you can't argue with the market.

I don't get the Mac hate. The computers are efficiently and ergonomically designed and competitively priced.

If all you all you care about are specs and commodity parts, then you should buy a computer made by Intel or Seagate.

hold on one sec here, who said anything about Intel and Seagate?! you don't have to go there to get decent prices. AMD computers are an excellent compromise between cost and quality.

^I think I was making a point that a computer should be more than just the sum of its parts, but these PC users in their infinite wisdom weren't sharp enough to pick up on that.

Nice job having that fly over your head, champ.
