Also, I just had the brakes worked on a month ago, and when I back out of my spot in the morning, they squeal quite a bit.

I had the rotors turned, and the pads were still good (new pads when I bought the car, but the dealer cheaped out on the rotors), so it seems odd.

Thoughts?

nope.. nothing wrong there. yea the pad wear tab that is sticking out can be bent back in... they might of just put it on wrong if anything.

i think you only have them on one side.

i think your perfectly good to go. its normal to hear a squeal/ squeek when you first use your brakes, it will make more noise pending on how the weather is. cold weather, rain, snow, any moisture in the air can make a squeek happen more often.
