WTF IS THIS?!?!?!

OMG LOOK....NEVER HEARD OF THIS B4.....ERROR???

CLICK!

GOO LOOK!!!!

512K CACHE ON A 2200+.....1.35v??????? WTF!.....if this is true...im getting this instead of a 2400+ mobile....

well...

newegg has the stepping listed as FJQ...lwhich means it is a 1.35 volt version.

now if newegg listed FQQ and said 1.35, it'd be a typo

i really don't think this is a typo..

OMG...MAYBE THIS IS ALIEN TECHNOLOGY? I REALLY DON'T KNOW! BUT HEY IT'S GOT A LOWER VOLTAGE SO IT MUST BE WORSE!!! 😕

and another thing.... why is it crap?

a 1.67 ghz processor able to run at 1.35 volts is crap???

good thing you're a newb on this board or else i'd flame the crap out of you for being stupid....

he doesn't mean the cpu is crap, he's saying it must be an error.. otherwise, why would he get one for himself??

then he should fix his title which says...

"crap at newegg"

So should I get this instead....i heard these 35 watters are kick ass for overclocking...that one guy got to 3500mhz with a 2400+ 35 watter.........someone help me make my decision...........2400+ or 2200+(35w)
?

For those who are interested, here's a link to a Swedish overclocking site that has quite a few reports from people with the 2400+ variety of this chip (AXMD2400FJQ4C):

Info

At a glance, they appear to be overclocking to a slightly higher level than the 1.45V counterparts, and hopefully this is an indication of good things from the 2200+.

i don't see the 2400 but one guy got the 2200+XP-M and only overclocked to 2.2 ghz

Don't get too enthralled about the big overclocks. I have not seen one of these mobiles from the 5 that I have had that got over 2.4 gig which is the same as my Tbred B that I have had forever and 2500 I have had about a year. So lets just say you eek out 2.5...big deal.

I think everyone needs to be running A64 machines after my experience with one and a NF3-250 board. There is sooooo much more than the benchmarks are telling. I only built one cause I got a cheap (165) A64 3000+ on the refurb area and thought I would give it a go...I won't look back...I am spoiled.

Not possible. Highest I've seen from the swedish overclockers, and they get even better chips (2.0Ghz @1.35), is 3133 mhz on phase change, meaning the chip way is less than freezing point.

As far as should you buy it? why not? only 77 bucks. Then you can come back and tell us how it did. I would buy one but I already have four mobiles.

I'm sure a decent ammount of all the other mobile models (2400+, 2500+, 2600+) could run at 1.67ghz with 1.35v
Might be interesting to try though.

If you follow the link and scroll down, you will see quite a few of the 1.35V 2400+ on the first page. I think the first 6 reply posts are examples.
