I assume if I were to turn messenger off, then I couldn't use "net send" to send a message to another PC on my network?

I thought I had it off, but I see it's still on. I guess my firewall is preventing me from getting that type of spam.

Their is opition for that I believe. If you just want to send stuff or something....Anyway, I wonder what brilliant mind a Microshaft thought of leaving this on by default
