I keep finding these things in my house and don't know what the hell they are. What do they eat, what eats them?

Ahh yes... looks to be a silverfish for sure. Now I just have to find how to get rid of them...

Silverfish.
They'll eat nearly anything that's plant-based. I think they'll even eat glue in bookbindings.
