He is the owner of Death Row Records, and has been accused of, on several occasions, beating the contract out of people and threatening their lives. Most famously, he supposedly dangled Vanilla Ice off of a hotel balcony until he signed over all rights to his music or something along those lines.

He is also thought to have had Tupac killed.
