<<You lay bare, for any with eyes to see, a deep and abiding property of the conditioned mind. Like religious zelots and partiots of old and the story of the willow and the oak, you demonatrate a common reflex exhibited by the trained automaton. 'Is suck' is not a part of your mental programing, a programming you paid for dearly in terms of pain and suffering, a programming you were forced to accept on pain of death, all of which you have forgotten, by the way, but to which now, you have welded yourself like a handle to a blade and stand braced as a living exponent. 'Is suck' is not gramatical, it violates the rules of speach. I mastered speach, I got rewarded for good speach. How dare you sir, userper of the tongue, try to claim standing for your haresy.
In the history of human evolution we have been dragged kicking and screaming from the occassional well timed grunt to....well, to poetry. Pleas stop being such a retrograde antibackass and bend like the willow. Remember that your adversion to 'is suck' is suck. Suck it up. Know that in any grouping of individuals, even such as we have here on Anandtech, there will form an indefinable social bond that has as one of its inevitable characteristics, a home grown, ingrown patois born out on a primordial urge to belong. I hope I make myself clear.
<< i guess you need to have been from the staples ordeal to apprciate is suck
but did it really come from staples.. or did someone find it elsewhere, and it was just first introduced here from staples... >>
I didn't see it with Staple's but I still appriciate it. It was not an intentional thing that was done. From what I have heard the person who started it made a grammatical error and it caught on.
