WTF is new-to-me BS?

I don't have problem with used cars. I bought two new ones in 1997 and saw no value in it other than a major depreciation hit.

I do have a problem when someone convolutes something so much.

It's when someone gets a car to replace a car, but it is used. Nobody is delusional. But saying "I got an old car!" just doesn't sound right. The "new" part is new to their life, not new as far as the car itself being new.

why not, hey I picked up a 1996 Honda accord?

instead they try hard to throw as much 'new' into the description and as little of the actual year.

A. I had the handle well before i bought the car
B. Your reading apprehension fails ... it's a MS6
C. There's the distinct possibility not everyone buys the fastest car they can afford. There are practical matters to consider ... kids for instance.
D. What about the subjective possibility of looks of a car? Maybe the RX8 just didn't do anything for me.

But you'd rather just bash on other people instead, based on assumptions you make. Hey that's cool ....
