WTF is "Independent Hospitality Professional"?

Just stalking people on LinkedIn when I came across someone with the title "Independent Hospitality Professional". I couldn't help but think of all the things that could entail... from waitress, to hotel desk clerk... to prostitute...

Needless to say the individual's profile was "private". Inquiring minds want to know!
