WTF is going on with my LCD

Take a look at this, it just appeared on my lcd:

Thats the only picture i've been able to get clear. This is a Samsung SyncMaster 172N.

Get it warrantied just make sure it's the LCD and not video card.

I think I'll do that.

Its not the video card, since it shows up when the lcd is off. Its hardly noticable when its on, but it is noticeable.

Only thing that makes me mad is that it has NO dead pixles, i'm afraid i'll get a replacement with a few dead ones and Samsung's policy is like 11 dead to return it, bastards.

I think that's worse than a couple of dead pixels. But it's your decision of course.

Hard to tell from that image but it looks like the substrate is cracked. Thats easily covered under warranty
