"Black on Black crime" because TO agreed with Hall of Fame WR Michael Irvin and said that future Hall of Fame QB Brett Favre is better than you?
For this and other things in the article and abroad...My respect for McNabb just went to zero.
Quick notes to McNabb:
1. you are fat for a QB...you are paid millions...the least you can do is keep in shape. Lose weight this offseason and come to training camp in better shape.
2. scramble next year...you are not that good of pocket passer...you must make the pass rush respect your running ability...if you still have it. You don't need to carve an image for yourself as a pocket passer nor do you need to prove that black QB's can be pocket passers. Warren Moon and Doug Williams, among others, proved that already. It is a dead issue.
3. T.O. was not reponisble for the offense losing respect for you...you are responsible. T.O. was reponsible for T.O. ...everyone else on the team in their own erpson. Lose weight, get in better shape, and run the ball next year...studying film with Brett Favre might not be a bad idea.
4. I hate every one of your soup commercials.
5. You talk about being a man...a man takes care of his business. You failed in every respect last year and tried to offload the blame...that is not what a man does.
6. T.O. is an a**hole...but, provided that he can actually not get suspended and play a couple more decent seasons, he'll probably be in the Hall of Fame and you probably won't. Stick that in your chunky soup and eat it.
Just my opinion...flame on. BTW... I do actually want the eagles to do well...when they are not playing the Steelers.
I actually needed a good laugh today. Let's counter some of your views:
1) Jerome Bettis: Fatter than McNabb, with a gut bigger than McNabb's. Too bad he doesn't have a hernia, then he would *really* suck.
2) You're judging a guy with a hernia through 6 games and telling him he can't scramble? Wow, I hope you never have kids who get a "C" at midterm while they have viral meningitis and tell them they should have prepared better in the hospital for that history test.
3) The whole team was divided because TO took half of the locker room with him. McNabb isn't responsible for sheep who are gullible enough to believe someone like TO, like Kearse and Trotter. Read the interview.
4) Who cares? Oh wait, you do.
5) McNabb threw noone under the bus, he gave people a chance to talk with him man to man and nobody did. Again, read the interview.
6) TO won't get into the HOF because he suffers from a disease called SLAMMYQB-ITIS. Eventually every QB he plays with, he will publically critisize. Consequently, said QB won't throw a pass thrown to him and he will be released. Eventually he will run out of teams to play for.
McNabb has a much better chance than TO of getting in the HOF, TO is nothing more than a slightly better Keyshawn in his prime. When he loses a step (and two, and three), he will be Keyshawn of last year: a big receiver who isn't going to outrun anyone.
