That is entirely incorrect and exactly the type of statement that gets furries the terrible reputation(which is entirely undeserved) they have. The reputation they deserve is that of an anime nerd, not any worse. A furry is a peron that likes anime or cartoon anthropomorphic animals, like Star Fox and such a little more than they should. Not much different from people that find alien chicks in movies hot or people who find anime chicks hot. It's almost entirely harmless nerds who enjoy stuff that isn't real.(drawings and such)

They are not the same as people who are into bestiality. The people in the furry communities who are into bestiality are a very very tiny minority. Likely not any larger than the % of people who are into it in any other group of people. Furries that wear "fursuits" are a very small minority as well. The ignorance that has been spread on this topic is beyond astounding. Furries are usually annoying little twats, but they don't fuck real animals.

You can't really say it's sarcasm when most assume they are doing just that.

We had a web programmer at my last gig that was a furry. He spent months on his 'suit'.

As far as I can tell a real Furry does everything as his/her character, even sex.

It's a bit insane to me but doesn't bother me or make me want to remove them from the planet. Many were the nicest people I ever met.
