WTF??? I only get 2 days off for Xmas!

Bah, what are you bitching about? Christmas Eve and Day fall on a Monday and Tuesday. So you've got a LONG weekend to enjoy it.

Since I'm network support for Sales Traders, that means I work whenever the Stock Market is open...The Market is open Christmas Eve. That means I can't do SQUAT as far as travel, there's no long weekend for me!

We get from the 22nd to the 2nd off paid. Not the weekends ,then I also took off the 20,21st and 3rd-5th for a total of 15 or so days. Can't wait.

Stop whinning and welcome to the real world. Most people don't even get two days. If you don't like it use some vacation time, that's what us adults do instead of sitting around bitching. I get 2 for christmas, 2 for thanksgiving and 2 for new years, the rest of the holidays I only get one day. But I sure as hell am not bitching about it.

Well it looks like I'm working Christmas eve/day and new year's eve/day. I even worked a couple hours on thanksgiving but since it was slow I went home early. I go to school FT and work PT so I have no vacation/sick leave or any benefits except for the 401k plan. This holiday season looks great.

your companies suck! My company's policy is to give everyone the 22 to the 3rd off. I love working for automotive suppliers, we get the benefits of union workers without having to deal with the union itself.

I volunteer to work the holidays so people with family can spend it with them.
My co-worker has not had a vacation in 2 years.

We work in IT and we are on call 24/7. It's what we do !
