I have no use for country music, but I have a couple of live Cd's of Johnny Cash and I love them. Think I got into him from my dad, who was a big Cash fan.

My parent's listen to country. Every time I'm over at our racing shop working on our race car my Dad has a country station on that plays "new" country. It drives me up the wall because he won't change it and they play the same 6-7 songs over and over and over and over and over. Some crap about a butterfly tattoo and another one about a combine or something some guy drives. I swear if we're working on the car for 5-6 hours I will hear the same song 5 times. What drives me nuts is I don't like the music, but because I get stuck listening to it for so long for the next week after I have the songs stuck in my head.

Johnny Cash and old Hank Williams isnt bad, new stuff is retarded and twangy and overly done with the fake accents. I say this and I'm from WV

How can you NOT like Johnny Cash. The man in black is timeless and as American as you can get.
trust me though, just because you like Cash doesn't mean you'll enjoy "Today's Country"
Cash is more American Folk at this point almost. He's "traditional"
