wtf??? i cant connect to yahoo or microsoft

What happens when you ping yahoo from DOS? Microsoft will not return (does not accept) ping packets. Can you ping yahoo's IP's? (216.115.108.243 and .245)

What happens when you trace route?

Have you tried rebooting? Have you tried power cycling your cable modem/DSL router? Have you done *anything* but post here?

yahoo and ms, along with most other major corporate and etailer sites will not load if you have certain security features turned off in your browser/services options. restore the defaults and make sure your firewall is configured to allow secure connections.
