WTF? How come there is never any good 19" CRT deals in the ads

But yet there's 17" deals? I told my GF I need a new monitor for xmas and I wanted a 19" CRT (Don't ask why, it's a personal issue with LCD's). But every week I check the adds, nothing at all but 17"ers! ARGH!

Because lots of people think 19's are too big.

I got a good deal on a 19" once in a CompUSA ad - lasted a year.

There were frequently deals on 19" CRTs a few months back. For example, Best Buy had a 19" Mag for well under $200 (with rebates.) Now, LCD monitors have become quite popular - and have stolen the spotlight away from 19" CRTs.
