Yeah, and the free account gives ya like 4 filters and enough room for 2 messages :frown:

ouch, try out yahoo mail instead then

Oh, I've got a Yahoo account! 2 in fact. 1 personal, 1 for my resume. As said earl;ier, I only have the hotmail to get ahold of my friends on MSN. Good ole MS intergration. Gotta love it :|

Someone say Pimp?

I use Onebox.com and pay 9.95 a month for 60MB mailbox. I got it when it was free, but they started charging this year. I've had it for 4 years and everyone I know has it, hard to change. It's even on my business card.🙁

Nothing in life is free. Even today I still believe whenever I see a webmail account that the owner is not smart enough to set up a pop email account. My Road Runner pop account works just fine.

I'll give ya that to an extent. What about people who dont have internet at home? Thats why i have my yahoo accounts.

Anyways, I would like to see some papers on how much money / resources / bandwidth these free email servives take up. You can bet MS had quite a bit of money dropped into its free hotmail services.

1. It's alot harder to check your email on a Roadrunner account when your travelling or using any other computer except your own isn't it?

2. Since I average a move about once a year for the past few years, often with a corresponding change in ISP, it's nice not to have to alert every last person I know that my email address has changed.

3. What makes you feel so smart that you are able to set up a pop account?

Out of all the webmail services I use Hotmail mainly because you can easily use Outlook Express to manage your mail. I'd be interested in finding out if anyone uses Outlook Express (or better yet Outlook) with any other webmail account.
