This is so weird. It doesn't work on THIS machine, but it works on the machine NEXT to me (on the same router).

Wtf. I cleared cookies, history, etc, everything. Set the privacy level on Medium, set the Security on Medium.

Im downloading Opera right now and hopefully that'll fix it.

the gmail HOME PAGE doens't work. And nope, I'm not signed on gmail.

Opea error:
Could not connect to remote server

You tried to access the address http://www.gmail.com/, which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the Web address (URL) is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page.

IE error: It brings up the MSN search page saying "gmail.com could not be signed on"

Sounds like DNS issues to me. If you're on a Windows box go to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and open the hosts file in notepad. Look for anything related to Gmail.com or google.com and if there's something there, edit the file or delete the entries as necessary. Either that or your DNS server is screwed up somehow.

Wow. Incredible.
I fixed it.
Install Zone Alarm.

Disabling the Windows Firewall is *NOT* gonna do anything. In fact, I don't even think it properly disables. Install Zone Alarm Pro and the Windows Firewall will disable itself automatically. Run ZoneAlarm Pro on the lowest setting possible. It worked. On high settings, nope.

I absolutely hate microsoft now. What the hell kind of bug is this? Disabling the Windows Firewall doesn't do anything at all.

Absolutely incredible.

RadioHead, I suggest you try this. It might work.
