I agree with their comment about strong encryption though, if youre a criminal would you be at all bothered using "illegal" strong encryption to hide your very probably much more illegal files? its not like other countries give a toss about US laws either, so pretty much any country that the US might not want using strong encryption arent (and shouldnt tbh) take the slightest bit of notice. Only people affected are those that abide by the laws and the most legitimate users. cutting off nose to spite face and all that.
