wtf!!! gas prices...

usually stop at this gas station on my way back home when i need to fill up. anyways the price was $1.69 when i was driving back. today i decided to go to the gym first then come back to the gas station.
so i come back after 2 hours and the price is at $1.73!!!!

Wow...if you bought 20 gallons you paid an extra $0.80.

I filled up my new car the other day at $1.65 and went to fill up my other car and it was already up to $1.85...30 min. later (the pumps were still at $1.65, though.)

Our gas here in London,Ontario Canada just hit 85 cents per litre. That's $3.145 per gallon. It used to be 71 cents per litre earlier. :|
 
im not complaining at the fact that gas prices are going up. thats a reality...they are gonna keep on going up no matter what cuz of the possible oil shortage.

im just complaining that it went up 4 cents in 2 hrs. never seen that kinda jump b4
 
Maybe 4 cents for the OP, but not for me. I filled up last Thursday for $2.07/gallon. That same station is now $2.23

Anyway, $3.145 CAD is $2.29 USD

yea...thats another reason im ranting. i drive 70+ miles a day and have to fill up almost twice a week

First there is no Oil Shortgae. The Saudi have been saying they have shipped more to us than ever before and we actually have a glut of oil. That is why they want to cut back on production.

They say that our Refineries are not processing the oil fast enough to meet market.

Last, we need Gas to go to $3 $4 or even $5 range to get the Mamoth POS SUV's at 8 mpg off the road.

Mawhahaa, that's nothing, the gas jump 8 cents while I was at the pump. Thank goodness I already swiped my card and got the original price. 😀

If you drove by 5 minutes before they changed their prices, then drove by 5 minutes after they changed them... it would have gone up 4 cents in 10 minutes! Gas prices change almost daily, it's nothing new.

Edit: They don't change the prices one cent at a time...
