That's not exactly what I had in mind. Whenever a race vid gets posted here... first thing I think of... "damn people wasting gas and they bitch about SUVs..."Double standard.

I'm still hoping for a shortterm at $3. Just long enough to really put the fear of God into SUV owners. It would be fun for everyone involved.Originally posted by: OS

Because "racers" aren't always "racing"? Besides, a sport compact car driving around WOT all day probably would still get better gas mileage than a hummer or expedition.
Gas prices are mildly annoying but like Skoorby said, it's more fun watching SUV and pickup drivers cry and get all butt hurt over gas prices. My car gets almost 30 mpg in mixed so the rest of the country will be f*cked from gas prices before me.

I'm glad I took delivery of my 2004 Honda Accord 4-cylinder 5-speed manual 2.5 weeks ago. I'm in a bigger car that gets BETTER gas mileage than my old '96 Sentra. My last fillup was 28 MPG!![]()

where the hell do you get premium gas for $2.00?
Premium here at the Mobil station by UCSD is $2.55.
My SUV only gets driven on the weekend regardless. Weekdays are what commuter cars are for.Originally posted by: Skoorb

Well for those who have only one car, it's smart to buy an SUV or minivan, isn't it ? Why buy just a passenger car when you can buy utility on top of it to help you through [almost] every situation in life ? Cause of price of gas ? Not enough reason to me. Practicality (when you need it) is there. People buy sports cars but they don't need it every day either, especially on highways with speed limits.Originally posted by: Skoorb
