So wait the movie will still be there in a month. I will never understand the public's will to sink hours into waiting in things like lineups to watch something/buy something that, in a month, will be readily available and they've already waited countless months for in the first place.

No problem getting tickets for this weekend, any show, here in north NJ.

I'll probably go see it this morning in Nanuet, only because some close friends are in the documentary biz, and I'm getting tired of them saying what an awesome technical achievement it is and how I have to see it.

I had a hard time sitting thru the Columbine movie, though, so I don't expect much.

I would like to see it. But I will have to drive two hours to do so. They will not be playing it anywhere around here ever. Very conservative area. But when "The Passion" came out, that was all that was played here for weeks.

Question 1: Since 12:33 p.m. on March 23, 2004.

Quesiton 2: Hmm, if there was a well made film being released this weekend, I could test that theory. Guess I'll have to wait until June 30th and find out if I become a Spiderman fanboy.

If a whole lot of non-Christians went to Passion of Christ to see what the hype was, what's the possibility of a whole lot of conservatives doing the same for this movie?

but liberals are open-minded ;)

you sure about that? extereme liberals are the most closed minded people in america in my experience. at least christians know the secular lifestyle but these extereme liberals don't know much about christians and are not willing to open their mind and learn anything about them.

We have a couple of judgmental short sighted people here...

good one man. i was thinking the same thing. i dont understand why the non-liberals feel so threatened by the liberals? even if one is a conservative...it doesnt take a genius to realize that bush is a bad president

i don't understand why liberals feel so threatened by non-liberals. They hate bush so much that they probably would vote for bin laden if he was running against bush for the presidency.

You say you he is a bad president but I bet you are one of those people that would rather blame the president for your own problems.. you probably just hate him for his ideals.

It's truly pathetic how much bitter partisanship is on ATOT. I guess the fact that you can hide behind a computer monitor makes it a little easier.

I think if this movie wasn't such a threat to the Bush Administration and its backers, there wouldn't be so many flamers online and in the media about his movie.

But from what I've gathered so far, this movie is already a critical success (~80% on Rottentomatoes), it's undoubtedly going to be a financial success, and it's having the impact Moore wanted on his audience. It's already been said that in screenings with swing voters in the audience (those that will most likely decide the outcome of November's elections), after seeing the movie those swing voters overwhelmingly wanted to oust Bush in November.

Moore's having the time of his life. And I'm going to be in the theater tonight finding out why.

I'm going to do my part and try to vote Bush out of office in November, but I can't stand that fat slob Michael Moore! I'll watch his movie, but he ain't getting a penny from me. ;)

And what ideals may these be? (This should be good).
