wtf... everything is getting corrupted.

is this the trait of a new virus? I don't usually use a virus program because I never get one. I'm careful about sites I visit and what I DL and install.

Anyways it seems my files are being corrupted one by one. can't run chkdsk because it says thats corrupted too.

Getting ready to shut down and reinstall on a fresh hd. Any special utility I can run on the current hd to save the data?

I had a corruption problem once... Turned out to be bad ram.
