wtf, dvd playback...??

Just upgraded to a Kyro II from a V3 3500 and now my DVD player (PowerDVD) has slowed down so much, playback is very noticably laggy, wtf??

i recently overclocked from 750 to 950 as well, but i don't think this has anything to do with it, does it?
