I'm beginning to think Dell has monkeys working for them. Back in the long long ago I got in on the hot deal for the ATI Radeon 8500 for $203 shipped. Well, as I could not wait, I went out and bought an OEM Radeon 8500 from Newegg. I have been very happy with that. Dell has sent me 2 emails saying they would cancel my order if I did not respond (which I did not). The second one said "by law they would be required to cancel my order."
Well today I woke up to a bunch of packages (most of them were from Newegg, as expected) but one said Dell on it and I just said !@#$! I knew it right away. I opened it up and found none other than a brand new retail Radeon 8500. I don't know WTF to do with it. I would like to swap my OEM with it and sell the OEM but I would probably lose too much money. So far I have not opened it. I am thinking about just returning it to Dell.
Also, a question for you credit card experts. I placed the order for this on a credit card that has been cancled. Were they still able to charge me since that CC is no longer valid? The charge has not shown up yet as far as I can tell but that doesn't mean anything.
Sorry for the rant but can't Dell do anything right?!?!?
