WTF? Connecticut DMV is trying to get me killed

I bought a motorcycle this summer from another state. I got it registered, which included VIN check required by law. The clerk said I'll receiver connecticut title within next few weeks. Well, I just get a letter from DMV saying that they cannot issue the title until I get VIN check done and that I have to bring my bike to DMV office within the next 15 days. And oh yeah, there's an inch of snow outside. WTF, did they lose their mind?
 
Haha, Connecticut DMV is the most ridiculous place I've ever been. Get there early and wait all day, buncha crazys running around.

On a seperate note, my friend got his motorcycle license because the DMV messed up and issued him that instead of his permit

Same thing happened to a friend I have in Minne.
