Anyone understand the logic here?

Obama presses Congress.
Congress rushes passage.
No one in Congress actually reads bill.
Obama takes long weekend vacation to Chicago.
Obama forgets that most Americans work on Prez Day.
Obama and Michelle eat fancy V-day dinner at Table 52. (Menu prices not online.)
Obama forgets that many Americans are having to choose between heating their homes and food.
Obama waits another day to sign rushed bill.

Mr. Obama: Would you like some change to go with your steak?

I mean I spent my presidents day waiting in the soup lines and fixing up my shanty with some more newspaper... :roll:

edit: On a more serious note, you do realize that the Obamas aren't actually piss poor and don't have to eat at McDs as some sort of empty gesture of how times are hard. OMGZZ THE WORLD IS FALLING APART RIGHT NOW!!!!! went out style with Dick Cheney.

"fancy food" Lol. peasants. I would recommend at least once in your miserable lives to go to a nice restaurant and have a tasting menu pm me for spots in LA and Washington DC $400 to $700 per person unless you are going to french laundry then we are talking $1200 a head. Yum.

Obviously not, we are angry that the democrats lied AGAIN and broke their promise of letting the public view the "stimulus" bill for 48 hours before voting on the bill. We were told that it was so damn urgent that we couldn't wait; four days ago obama was saying if the "stimulus" didn't get passed ASAP we'd be in "catastrophe" then he goes on a 3 day weekend before signing the bill. Either he's the dumbest president in American history or he's the biggest political tool in American history. I think it?s the later, with a bit of the former.
Furthermore he'll sign it in Denver as part of his continued campaigning. One thing is certain: the press will ignore the unprecedented hypocrisy and deception that obama displayed by this fear mongering to pass his socialist bill.

has to do with the stimulus bill? I'll give you a hint - the answer is nothing, and the sidebar is its just another pathetic attempt to attack Obama for anything and everything. There is absolutely, positively no rational, intelligent reason to attack the President for going to an expensive restaurant.

You do realize that the President gets a salary for his job, right? It is a pretty nice one at that. I'd think that he would whip out his debit card for a Valentine's day dinner. This isn't some official dinner at the State department with their alien counterparts. 😛
 
I like the fact he said we cant keep driving our SUV's and keep our houses at 75 or whatever it is, and then proceeds to get in the White House and crank the heat up to 80.

Some people are equal, some are more equal then others. The real problem with it is NO ONE on this forum is going to be in the "more equal then others" class and yet they will still pander to him and support him.
